Hensley Strunk, 90, of Wallins
Creek, Ky., went home to be with
the Lord on Sunday, March 29,
2009.
She was born in Rose Hill, VA on
December 23, 1918. Mrs. Strunk
was a homemaker and believed in
the Holiness faith.
She is preceded in death by her
parents, James Edward &
Hattie Cheek. Husband, Troy
Strunk. Two son: Donnie Bee
Hensley & Herbert Barnett
Hensley. One grandson, Luther L.
Byrd Jr. Four sisters: Myrtle,
Emliy, Nanette & Vertie.
Brothers: Haskell, James, Boyd,
Tobe, Odes, Orb, General, Carl
Ray, Hascue, John, Henry &
Floyd.
She is survived by three
children. One daughter, Alberta
Hensley Byrd, of Coldiron, Ky.
Two sons: Ronney Ed Hensley &
wife Pat, of Chiefland, FL. And
Jesse Barnett Hensley & wife
Margaret, of Wallins, Ky. 15

Visitation for Mrs. Strunk will
be held Wednesday, April 1, 2009
from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the
chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral
Home with the funeral following
at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Ed
Houston Officiating.
Graveside services will be held
Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 11
a.m. at Resthaven Cemetery of
Keith, Ky.
The great-grandsons of Mrs.
Strunk will serve as pallbearers.
