Gladys Davidson, 79, of Wallins, departed this life on Monday, July 23, 2007, at her residence.

She was born Feb. 15, 1928 in Morehead. She was a homemaker and attended the Kentenia Full Gospel Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Ida Mae Jerdan Kiser; three husbands: Hubert Saylor, Otis Adkins and David Davidson; five brothers: Ivan, Glenmore, John, George and Charlie; six sisters: Dorothy Knapp, Nola Doyle, Loma Brewer, Mycleta Saylor, Mary Glover and Odella Bates.

Survivors include a niece whom she raised, Joyce Cole and husband, Danny, of Wallins; and several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Houston and the Rev. Ted Doyle officiating.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Resthaven Cemetery of Keith.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 25, 2007 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
